Each tablets contain

•  Bempedoic acid (180 mg): This works by inhibiting an enzyme in the liver (ATP citrate lyase), which reduces cholesterol production, thereby lowering LDL cholesterol levels.

•  Ezetimibe (10 mg): This reduces the absorption of cholesterol in the small intestine, further helping to decrease LDL cholesterol levels.

Uses:

•  It is primarily prescribed for adults with primary hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) or mixed dyslipidemia (abnormal lipid levels) to reduce LDL cholesterol.

•  It is often used in combination with a statin (another cholesterol-lowering drug) or other lipid-lowering therapies in patients who cannot achieve adequate cholesterol control with statins alone or who cannot tolerate statins.

•  It supports cardiovascular health by reducing the risk of heart-related complications associated with high cholesterol, such as heart attack or stroke.
